Diagnosis and treatment of fibroids and polyps

Treatment of fibroids and polyps in Gijon, Asturias

What are fibroids and polyps?

Many women are unaware that they have any of these abnormalities, as their symptoms are often confused with what is believed to be normal menstruation. Observe your body and, if something worries you, consult us.

One of the main consequences of fibroids is problems in getting pregnant.

Common symptoms

The most obvious signs are heavy or painful periods, which prevent you from going about your normal routine. These alterations in menstruation may indicate the presence of fibroids (or growth of the muscle fibers that form the lining of the uterus) or endometrial polyps (localized growth of the endometrium).
